NCC Directs Telcos to Grant Extra 14 Days Grace Period for Unused Data

(NCC) Nigeria Telecommunications Commission has mandated and directed all telecommunications providers Starting from "9mobile, MTN, AIRTEL and GLO" to give subscribers more grace of extra 14 days period to exhaust their unused data after the 30 days expiration period.
Ms. Helen Obi, stated this in Minna, the Niger state capital, at the Consumers Conversation Forum organised by the NCC.

According to Ms. Helen Obi;
“NCC has mandated all network providers to give their subscribers 14 days of grace after the 30 days expiration of their data if they still have data left and cannot recharge to get their data rolled over”.
The NCC also advised consumers that if their problem is not solved by their network provider, they should not hesitate to call the NCC and lay their complaints, assuring them that the problem would be solved and the network provider will compensate the subscriber.
