9mobile To Be Sold To Glo On The 16th Of January 2018

Globalcom is seriously working on buying 9mobile formally known as (Etisalat).
Last year 2016 the name Etisalat was changed to 9mobile and since then the company has lost focus no doubt this should be one of the reason why they want to sell out the company to Globalcom.

According to Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) they stated that there will be no shift in the date fixed and approved for the sale of 9mobile.

The NCC Executive Commissioner and Stakeholder Management, insisted that the transactions and hand over of 9mobile to the new owner must be finally concluded on the 16th of January, 2018.

before now, 9mobile was to be sold on December 31, 2017 but they wrote to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the NCC, asking for extension of date from December 31st, 2017 to January 16th, 2018.
