StumbleUpon Finally Retires To Give Way To Mix July 2018

Stumbleupon used to be the discovery engine that pushed recommended sites to users prior to the social media age dominated by Facebook and Twitter.
Its co-founder, Garrett Camp, announced in May that the content aggregator site would be shutting down by the end of June, and asked Stumblers to migrate their accounts to Mix.com.

Over the weekend, the final hour for StumbleUpon has come to pass: the content discovery site has shut down 16 years after its launch.
StumbleUpon still recommends that users switch to Mix as their new discovery engine for web content.

Mix is supposed to incorporate the original concept of StumbleUpon, while also adding a plethora of improvements learned from the heyday of its forebear.

When you visit StumbleUpon's home page right now, a redirect button leads you to the Mix portal, which allows you to find, save, and share web content of particular interest to you. Plus, Mix will help you import your StumbleUpon account to the new platform seamlessly.
